Seasoned Edamame

We want to share a quick and easy side dish you can munch on. (We created this recipe in August as it's a perfect snack for summer, and time flew before we knew it!)

It’s edamame seasoned with our sauce. In this recipe, we used Leek Miso but Jalapeño Miso goes well too.

Serving: 4  Prep time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

300 g           Frozen Edamame (we got ours from Costco individually packed)

1 Tbsp         Leek Miso or Jalapeno Miso

1/4 tsp         Salt

Black pepper

(optional) 2 pinches    Onion granules

Instructions:

  1. Fill half of water in a 1.5-2 L size pot and bring water to boil.
  2. Once water is boiling, put frozen edamame in the pot on the high heat. Wait until water starts boiling again.
  3. When water starts boiling, cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Drain water completely and season with salt, miso, black pepper and onion granule, then toss the beans well until all the spices coat the beans evenly.
